Work/Attirer Grandeur—Case study
The membership and commerce platform we designed, built, and operate ourselves — proof the plumbing works, because we run a business on it every day.
01/04 The brief Attirer Grandeur
Attirer Grandeur is a Pittsburgh music collective, and the platform behind it is ours end to end. We designed it, built it, and run it in production: artist pages, a release catalog, events, a gallery, a shop, and a membership program, all on one codebase.
It's the project where we are the client — which makes it the most honest thing in this portfolio. Every feature exists because the business needed it, and it has to keep working every day, not just on launch day.
02/04 What we did Attirer Grandeur
Built on Next.js with a database backend — artists, releases, events, gallery, and member accounts, all rendered fast. This is the difference between a website and a platform.
Membership tiers run on Stripe subscriptions; the shop runs on Stripe checkout. Recurring billing, one-off payments, and the account plumbing that connects them — already in our toolbox for any client who needs to take money online.
An editorial identity — oversized serif initials, monospace detailing, a restrained cream-and-red palette — with GSAP motion used as feedback, not decoration.
We run this platform daily: content, releases, payments, upkeep. When we tell a client we'll maintain their site under a care plan, this is the standing evidence.
